With over 30 years of experience as a non-profit conservation leader, I bring a wealth of life and professional insights to support you as you navigate challenges and opportunities on your journey.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with world-class environmental nonprofits and mission-driven organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, the Highstead Foundation, Trust for Public Land, One Tree Planted, and 4ocean. My roles have spanned leading professional teams and organizations, advancing impactful conservation projects globally, and helping secure over $100M in funding for vital environmental work.
I have extensive experience in working with staff, leadership, board members, and funders and have learned how to build effective and productive relationships and navigate challenging situations.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, whether you're looking to refine your leadership skills, overcome personal or professional hurdles, or achieve new milestones.
I founded True Roots Coaching and Leadership Development to offer personalized coaching and leadership support services built on the core principles of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
When I’m not coaching, I enjoy life in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, with my wife Barb, our dog Bella, and our cat Max. My two grown children also live nearby in the Portland area, which makes for great family moments. Let’s work together to chart a path toward your success—on your terms.
